Kathy is the second child of Mert and Jessie. She is named after her Grandmother Katie and her Aunt Ann. Kathy came close behind Roy just 13 months apart. They were like twins. She lived in Binscarth and then Russell where she went to school. Upon graduating Kathy attended Nursing School in Winnipeg and got her RN.
Kathy married Woody Langford and they have one son Nathan (born in 1985)
Kathy enjoyed figure skating and took piano lessons all through school.
